Position Summary:MedCadre is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical to join a leading healthcare facility in Atlanta, GA. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Med-Surg RN who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments safely.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR).
- Respond quickly to changes in patient condition.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards.
Requirements:
- Active Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- Minimum 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical experience.
- Current BLS and ACLS Certification (AHA required).
- Previous travel experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
