FANUC America is seeking a detail-oriented and safety-focused Shipping, Receiving & Logistics Specialist to support inbound and outbound material operations. This role is responsible for receiving, auditing, packaging, shipping, inventory verification, and logistics issue resolution while ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with company processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to internal and external customers.
- Audit outbound customer orders prior to shipment by verifying packing slips, order accuracy, part identification, and quantities.
- Use Oracle Mobile to complete shipping audit transactions, including scanning order numbers, delivery numbers, and part labels.
- Inspect parts for visible damage, defects, or rust before shipment and escalate issues as required.
- Ensure shipment documentation, packaging methods, and Oracle transactions align with customer requirements.
- Perform Oracle receiving transactions, including ASN and Purchase Order receiving.
- Verify inbound shipments by opening containers and counting parts against ASN documentation, packing slips, bills of lading, and purchase orders.
- Print and apply inbound labels and stage received materials for storage or processing.
- Support material transfers and inventory movement activities.
- Package customer parts using approved materials and methods to prevent transit damage.
- Consolidate materials when appropriate to improve efficiency and reduce packaging waste.
- Prepare shipping documentation and ensure packing slips are properly attached to shipments.
- Create shipping labels using Oracle Ship Console and verify shipment information prior to release.
- Process parcel, freight, LTL, and web-shipper shipments according to established procedures.
- Prepare freight skids and pallets using approved packaging and banding methods.
- Record shipment weights and dimensions and maintain shipment photographs when required.
- Coordinate customer-arranged pickups, including shipment verification, documentation, and obtaining customer signatures.
- Ensure completed shipments are staged correctly by carrier and pickup method.
- Support inspection and quarantine processes for damaged or questionable materials.
- Create Material Incident Reports (MIRs) for nonconforming materials.
- Initiate Logistics Issue Tracking (LIT) requests and escalate discrepancies involving missing, incorrect, or damaged inventory.
- Follow hazardous material handling procedures and safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records in accordance with company document retention requirements.
- Collaborate closely with Distribution, Shipping, Receiving, and Logistics teams to ensure materials are processed accurately and on time.
- Support inventory accuracy, process compliance, and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Promote a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, or distribution operations.
- Ability to use ERP systems such as Oracle and handheld scanning devices.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Operate warehouse equipment
- Experience with Oracle Mobile, Oracle Ship Console, or similar warehouse management systems.
- Experience with freight, LTL shipping, and inventory control processes.
- Knowledge of quality inspection, material incident reporting, and logistics issue resolution procedures.
