Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Civil Engineer (PE) to join our dynamic engineering team. Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects, including water treatment systems, wastewater management, pipelines, and land development initiatives.
- Develop detailed project schedules to ensure timely delivery while managing resources effectively across multiple projects.
- Utilize advanced CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, and Land Surveying tools for drafting schematics, system layouts, and construction documents.
- Conduct construction management activities including site inspections, quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC), and construction inspection to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
- Prepare accurate construction estimates using specialized tools like Construction Estimating software and Mathcad; review project budgets regularly.
- Coordinate with GIS professionals utilizing ArcGIS and GIS data for site analysis and project planning.
- Apply hydraulics modeling using SWMM or HEC software to optimize water flow and drainage systems; perform geotechnical assessments for foundation stability.
- Draft technical reports and documentation through technical writing; communicate project progress effectively with stakeholders.
- Oversee system design processes involving mechanical engineering principles for water treatment or wastewater facilities; ensure integration of civil and mechanical systems seamlessly.
- Manage project schedules with project scheduling tools; facilitate collaboration among multidisciplinary teams including land surveyors, geotechnical engineers, and system designers. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required; active licensure in relevant jurisdiction preferred.
- Proven experience in civil engineering project management with a focus on water/wastewater treatment, pipelines, or infrastructure development.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, ArcGIS, HEC software (Hydrologic Engineering Center), SWMM (Storm Water Management Model), Mathcad, and other relevant CAD/drafting tools.
- Demonstrated ability in construction management including scheduling, inspection, and quality control processes.
- Knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles and land surveying techniques.
- Excellent technical writing skills for preparing reports and documentation; effective communicator with clients and team members.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
