- Summer Schedule (Daylight Saving Time): 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM
- Winter Schedule (Standard Time): 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM
- Minimum 3–4 shifts per week, including weekends and holidays as scheduled
Compensation
- Paid Training: $18.00/hour
- After successful completion of training: $19.50–$23.50/hour, based on experience and qualifications

About the Role
Join the airport team supporting a major Japanese airline and help deliver exceptional customer service to international travelers at Washington Dulles International Airport.
In this customer-facing role, you will assist passengers throughout the airport experience, working closely with airline staff and airport personnel while utilizing your Japanese and English language skills.
This position is well suited for candidates seeking a part-time morning schedule, including students, recent graduates, OPT holders, individuals interested in aviation or hospitality, and anyone looking to work in an international airport environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist passengers with check-in, boarding, and other airport procedures.
- Provide Japanese-English interpretation and communication support for Japanese-speaking passengers and airline personnel.
- Assist with gate, lobby, and customer service operations.
- Coordinate with airline employees, airport staff, and service partners to ensure smooth passenger operations.
- Deliver professional, courteous, and efficient customer service while maintaining airline service standards.
Qualifications
- Professional-level Japanese proficiency required to communicate with Japanese-speaking passengers and provide interpretation between Japanese and English during airport operations.
- English communication skills sufficient to interact professionally with passengers, airline staff, and airport personnel.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Training
Paid training is provided prior to assignment.
