For over 100 years, our company has provided exceptional custom framing services for nationally recognized interior design firms, galleries, artists, businesses, and local clientele. As the largest framing facility in Southeastern Wisconsin, we combine traditional craftsmanship with a thriving online business, producing thousands of custom framing orders each year.
Our busy downtown custom framing facility is looking for a Part-Time Custom Picture Framer / Production Team Member to join our team (24-32 hours per week).
We're looking for someone with a strong work ethic, excellent craftsmanship skills, and a keen eye for detail who enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.
Position Overview
This position plays an important role in producing high-quality custom framing for our online customers, commercial clients, and large contract projects. You'll work alongside our experienced team assembling custom frames, handling artwork with care, and helping fulfill both individual and large-quantity orders.
Responsibilities
- Assemble artwork into custom picture frames
- Finish and touch up frame corners
- Mat and mount artwork
- Handle, measure, and inspect artwork with care
- Assemble original artwork, prints, photographs, and other custom framing projects
- Fulfill online orders with accuracy and efficiency
- Assist with large-quantity commercial and contract framing orders
- Operate computerized mat-cutting equipment to produce precision custom mats for online orders
- Cut and clean glass
- Package completed orders for shipment
- Assist with artwork delivery and installation when needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area
- Help ensure every project meets our high standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Preferred Experience
- Picture framing experience
- Woodworking or finish carpentry
- Power tool experience
- Production, manufacturing, or assembly experience
- Other hands-on craftsmanship experience
No framing experience? We're happy to train the right individual with mechanical aptitude, a positive attitude, craftsmanship skills, and a desire to learn a unique trade.
Schedule
- Approximately 24-32 hours per week
- Flexible schedule, Monday through Friday
- Business hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
