Summary
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Assistant to join our dedicated team at Shannondell at Valley Forge. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and enhancing the comfort of our residents. Your expertise will directly contribute to our mission of providing a high-quality living environment.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
- Troubleshoot HVAC issues and perform necessary repairs to ensure optimal performance.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to execute installations accurately.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on HVAC equipment to prevent breakdowns.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff to address property-wide service needs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in all HVAC operations.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents regarding HVAC inquiries.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
