What We’re Looking For: Walstrom Marine is looking for an experienced Service Advisor in Traverse City to provide excellent customer service and help our marine technicians prioritize their work. This position requires a high level of customer and employee interaction, so our ideal candidate has a strong customer service background as well as the technical experience of working in a service environment. No marina experience or prior boat knowledge? No problem! We will provide the necessary training for you to be successful in this role in exchange for a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong focus on building positive relationships with team members and our customers. Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist and interact with customers on all their service and sales needs, communicate effectively and professionally, handle complaints in a timely manner
- Write, plan, and organize work orders; verify completion with Technicians; follow up promptly on any issues
- Responsible for winter storage log and accurate storage account
- Maintain preferred service provider insurance requirements
- Assist Parts Department with customer calls, walk ins, and technician parts requests
- Maintain and manage multiple schedules for Service Department
- Assist Accounts Receivable with identifying work to be invoiced and/or closed out
Requirements and Qualifications: Previous experience in customer service environments required. The ideal candidate for this role is organized, efficient, personable and customer service minded, and technologically literate with experience using Microsoft Office and other computer systems.

Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm, Saturday availability required during summer months
- This is an in-person, on site position based out of our Traverse City location
