Spray Technician — Turf & Ornamental | $25–$30/hr | 4-Day Work Week
If you can read a lawn, we’ll pay you like it. And you’ll be off every Friday.
Most spray techs run a program. You read the property.
Rockaway Landscape is hiring an Agronomics Technician to own turf and ornamental treatment cycles across our commercial portfolio in Northeast Florida.
Monday through Thursday. Ten-hour days.
- Run fertilization, herbicide, insecticide, and fungicide cycles on commercial properties
- Diagnose in the field pests, disease, weeds, nutrient issues, and the cultural problems everybody else misdiagnoses
- Run a hose and a ride-on spreader/sprayer, calibrated by you, to label rate, every time
- Be the person account managers call when nobody knows what’s wrong with the turf
- Limited Urban Commercial Fertilizer Applicator certificate (GI-BMP) for fertilizer work.
- Missing that? Apply anyway. If you’ve got the experience and the eye, we’ll pay for the training and get you certified.
- 2+ years applying on commercial turf and ornamental in Florida preferred
- Real identification skills — we test this in the field, not on paper
- Valid Florida driver’s license and a clean enough MVR to drive our truck
Bonus points: GHP experience, bilingual, or you’ve trained techs before.
$25–$30 per hour, based on experience and what you’re certified in. Not “competitive.” That’s the number.
