CNA – Immediate Opening
Location: Avondale, PA
Green Medical Consulting is currently seeking compassionate, dependable, and reliable CNA to provide one-on-one support for an adult male with intellectual and physical disabilities in his home.
Available Shifts
Weekday Position
- Monday–Friday
- 3:00 PM – 9:30 PM
Weekend Position
- Saturday & Sunday
- 9:30 AM – 9:30 PM (12-hour shifts)
Flexible Scheduling Available
Weekend hours may be divided into shorter shifts for the right candidates.
Client Overview
The individual is a 34-year-old male diagnosed with:
- Cerebral Palsy
- Epilepsy
- Moderate Intellectual Disability
He is non-ambulatory, wheelchair dependent, and lives with his parents. He requires hands-on assistance throughout the day to remain safe and engaged.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and community inclusion.
- Assist with personal care and activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Assist with transfers using a Hoyer lift.
- Assist with wheelchair mobility and positioning.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Monitor for seizures and report any concerns immediately.
- Follow the individual's ISP and support plan.
- Maintain accurate daily documentation.
- Communicate professionally with family members and supervisors.
Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities preferred.
- Experience using a Hoyer lift is preferred.
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass all required background checks.
- Dependable attendance is required.
