Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Field Project Manager to lead large-scale electrical construction projects from inception to completion. Duties
- Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of electrical construction projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets
- Review construction drawings, schematics, and blueprints to verify accuracy and compliance with specifications
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate seamless project flow and communication
- Manage project contracts, change orders, and procurement processes to optimize cost control and resource allocation
- Oversee the permitting phase involvement, ensuring all necessary permits are obtained in compliance with local codes and regulations such as NEC (National Electrical Code) and NFPA 70 standards
- Conduct site inspections to monitor safety protocols, quality standards, and progress; address any issues promptly
- Utilize industry software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid for project scheduling, cost management, and document control
- Review construction schedules regularly; adjust plans as needed to meet project milestones while managing risks effectively
- Lead the review of construction drawings and schematics for electrical systems; ensure proper integration with system design requirements
- Collaborate on system design aspects related to electrical engineering projects; ensure designs meet NEC codes and NFPA 70 compliance standards
- Facilitate communication during the permitting phase; coordinate inspections and approvals with local authorities
Experience
- Proven experience managing large-scale electrical or heavy civil construction projects with a focus on electrical systems
- Strong background in electrical blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and system design principles
- Extensive knowledge of construction scheduling tools such as Primavera P6; experience with construction estimating is a plus
- Familiarity with project management software including ProCore and Bluebeam for documentation and collaboration purposes
- Hands-on experience in electrical project management within the construction industry; site supervision preferred
- Deep understanding of NEC (National Electrical Code), NFPA 70 standards, and local permitting processes
- Demonstrated ability to manage contracts effectively while maintaining high safety standards on-site
- Excellent time management skills combined with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously in fast-paced environments
- Electrical engineering background or related technical training highly desirable

Pay: $36.00 - $40.00 per hour
