Responsibilities
- Assist Master Plumbers with complex plumbing installations and repairs.
- Troubleshoot plumbing issues and recommend solutions.
- Install pipes, valves, and fixtures for new construction and service.
- Measuring, cutting, and threading pipes.
- Packing/sorting tools, materials & equipment for each job
- Cutting open walls to expose piping
- Installing boilers & water heaters.
- Installing plumbing fixtures (sinks, faucets, toilets & shower bodies)
- Maintain a clean, organized work truck and job site.
- Follow all local building codes and safety standards.
- Rough plumbing/installation of all new piping.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment safely and effectively
- Follow instructions from supervisors to complete tasks efficiently while prioritizing safety and quality
Qualifications
- Clean/Valid Driver’s license
- Punctual, Reliable and a Strong desire to learn
- Good problem solving skills
- Good listening and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work after-hours and weekends when needed.
- Construction experience or background in construction plumbing is highly preferred
- Basic knowledge of plumbing systems, pipe installation, and maintenance techniques
- Experience with welding, pipe threading, carpentry, HVAC or handyman tasks is a plus
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment properly
- Strong mechanical aptitude with basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Commitment to safety protocol adherence and understanding of building code compliance
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in a field service environment
