Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems Clover
- Process cash, credit, and digital payments swiftly while ensuring accurate cash register operations and sales transactions.
- Assist in food preparation tasks to support kitchen staff, including assembling orders and maintaining food safety standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales by recommending popular or new offerings.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including bussing tables, sanitizing surfaces, and ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support food service delivery.
- Manage customer inquiries professionally, providing excellent service that encourages repeat visits.
Requirements
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such Clover POS is a plus.
- Strong food handling knowledge and understanding of food safety management practices.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
- Ability to perform basic math for processing cash transactions and retail math calculations.
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach.
- Experience with food preparation, serving, bussing, sanitation, and operating kitchen equipment is desirable.
- Retail sales experience or grocery store background is advantageous but not required.
