About Cascade Property Pros
Cascade Property Pros is a small, systems driven landscaping company serving high end residential and light commercial properties in Snohomish County. We use clear scopes, checklists, and before and after photos to keep properties looking sharp year round.
We are building a serious, compartmentalized company, not a "mow and go" side gig. If you show up, work hard, and want a path up (not just a paycheck), you will fit here.
About the Role
We are looking for a dependable Landscape Maintenance & Pruning Technician who wants to grow into a Crew Leader role over time.
You will start by working directly with the owner in the field, learning our standards for pruning, bed care, and maintenance on high end properties. As you master the work and prove reliability, you will take on more responsibility and eventually run your own route days.
What You Will Do
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks on residential and commercial properties, including:
- Mowing, trimming, edging, blowing
- Hand weeding and bed clean ups
- Shrub and hedge pruning within safe ladder height (up to about 15 ft)
- Seasonal clean ups and debris removal
- Load and unload tools, materials, and green waste each day
- Keep trucks, trailers, tools, and job sites clean and organized
- Follow written scopes of work and property checklists
- Take simple before and after photos on your phone and complete visit notes
- Communicate issues you see on site (irrigation leaks, hazards, client concerns)
- Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE
You Are A Fit If You
- Show up on time, every time (non negotiable)
- Take pride in leaving a property better than you found it
- Can work outdoors in typical PNW weather (rain, heat, cold)
- Can lift and carry 50 lbs repeatedly and work on your feet all day
- Can follow checklists and are willing to learn our way of doing things
- Want to learn a trade and grow into more responsibility over the next 1 - 3 years
- Like the idea of steady, hands on work most of the year (4 - 5 days per week), and are ok with 2 - 3 day weeks in slow season as long as the days you work are fully paid
- Want to grow your hours and responsibility over time, not stay stuck at a couple of casual shifts
Requirements
- 18+ years old
- Valid Washington State driver license
- Reliable transportation to Snohomish, WA
- Able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical outdoor work daily
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Preferred:
- 1+ season of landscape maintenance or similar outdoor work
- Experience with commercial mowers, trimmers, and blowers
- Basic plant knowledge and interest in learning proper pruning
Pay, Schedule & Growth
- Starting pay: 23.00 - 25.00 per hour, depending on experience and reliability
- Overtime eligible during busy weeks
Typical schedule:
- Busy season (roughly March - June and September - October): 4 - 5 days per week, daytime hours, occasional Saturdays
- Slow season (roughly November - February and mid summer lulls): usually 2 - 3 days per week
- On any scheduled workday, you are paid for a full 8 hour day, even if we finish a bit early. If we wrap early, we use the extra time for training, equipment, and shop work, not unpaid go home time.
Career Path & Pay Growth:
- Level 1: Landscape Tech (23 - 25 per hour)
- Learn our routes, checklists, and standards for maintenance and pruning while working directly with the owner.
- Level 2: Crew Leader (26 - 30 per hour range)
- Once you can safely run your own route days, maintain quality without rework, and help train newer techs, you can step into a Crew Leader role with higher pay and more responsibility.
Performance based raises and monthly bonus opportunities are available after your first 90 days, based on reliability, quality, and client feedback.
