Job Summary
Pico Propane and Fuels, a Meritum Energy Holdings Company, is looking for an experienced and driven Customer Service Representative to join the team at our new location in Dripping Springs! The Customer Service Representative will support both customers and operations by proactively addressing inquiries, coordinating service needs, maintaining accurate records, and helping ensure day-to-day processes run efficiently. A successful Customer Service Representative is committed to Service, Efficiency, and Safety.
Interacts with customers via telephone, email, or in person to provide support and information on products or services and serves as a liaison between customers and the company
Collects and enters orders for new or additional products or services
Field customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the representative’s knowledge, forwards to the assigned specialist or other appropriate staff.
Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers problems and concerns
Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments
Supports daily operations through dispatch coordination and scheduling of drivers and technicians, while maintaining accurate records, reporting, and internal systems
Assists with administrative and compliance-related tasks to support operational efficiency and business needs
Assist customers with filling propane cylinders at the bottle dock station
Performs other related duties as assigned

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum 3 years of customer service experience
Experience in high-volume phone call settings highly preferred
Experience in the oil and propane industry preferred
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
Service-oriented and the ability to resolve customer grievances
Proficient with computer skills and the ability to learn and use current and new software
Must be proficient with the current Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn and utilize different software

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk, using a phone, and working on a computer
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed in order to safely assist with duties around the plant
