Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a key role in ensuring our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
- Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while ensuring presentation standards are met.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues to ensure satisfaction.
- Process payments accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and assisting with sanitation practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely food preparation.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Experience with food service operations, including fine dining or nightclub environments.
- Familiarity with POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) for efficient order processing.
- Culinary experience is a plus, along with knowledge of food preparation techniques.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing processes.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices and food safety regulations is essential.
