We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Area General Manager to lead our operations across multiple hotels in the Douglasville area (Holiday Inn Express Douglasville & LaQuinta Inn & Suites) . This energetic leader will drive business growth, oversee daily operations, and ensure exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, strategic planning abilities, and a passion for hospitality excellence. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the overall operations of all hotels within the designated area, ensuring alignment with company standards and goals
- Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize profitability, improve processes, and drive business development
- Oversee financial performance, including profit & loss management, budgeting, and cost control measures
- Supervise hotel managers and staff, providing leadership, coaching, and performance evaluations to foster a positive work environment
- Drive sales initiatives by developing business relationships, enhancing guest satisfaction, and increasing occupancy rates
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and project management to streamline operations and elevate service quality
- Monitor compliance with safety regulations, brand standards, and operational policies across all properties
Experience
- Proven management experience within the hospitality industry or related sectors with a focus on multi-property oversight
- Demonstrated success in strategic planning, business development, and profit & loss management
- IHG & Wyndham Brand Experience a plus
- Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively
- Hands-on experience in project management, process improvement initiatives, and sales growth strategies
- Excellent communication skills with a proactive approach to leadership and problem-solving
