We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Staff Accountant to join our team of professionals.
Responsibilities and Job Duties:
- Process AP invoices, vendor payments, corporate card activity, and weekly check runs
- Code invoices to job cost and equipment accounts while maintaining vendor records and lien waivers
- Enter billings into Spectrum and support AR reporting, apply customer payments and support equipment billing processes
- Assist with reconciliations and maintain prepaid schedules and reconciliation support files
- Assist with payroll processing, reporting and labor & equipment updates
- Maintain fixed assets, depreciation, and equipment tracking records
- Assist with journal entries, month-end close, reconciliations and financial reporting support
- Assist with ERP cleanup and data organization
- Maintain accounting documentation and support audit requests
- Support Senior Accountant with ad hoc accounting tasks & other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years’ experience.
- Construction experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
