Five Star Fabricating is a privately held, fast-growing manufacturer of high-performance composite,
polycarbonate and plastic components for the automotive industry. We are seeking an impact player to join our
Maintenance team at our clean, state-of-the-art facility.
Building Maintenance:
- Maintain preventative and periodic maintenance schedules for machines/systems/lighting.
- Service HVAC, plumbing (water, air, vacuum lines, heaters, softeners, drains, gas piping), and electrical
systems, including emergency lighting and exit signs.
- Monitor and maintain factory equipment: ovens, heaters, compressors, vacuum pumps, AC units,
forming and masking machines, routers, etc.
- Perform various painting: walls, steps, railings, machines, dock plates, doors, trailers, forklifts, etc.
- Assist with shelving set-up/tear-down and reconfiguring; support production and R&D projects.
- Assist with snow plowing/shoveling of paved areas.
Mechanical Skills and Experience:
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical failures in production machinery.
- Perform adjustments and alignments for optimal mechanical performance.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams on mechanical issues.
- Operate and maintain specialized mechanical tools and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of High School Education
- Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, and move about the facility.
- Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Required to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
