Job Description
We are seeking a skilled VMware architect to design, implement, and optimize enterprise virtualization environments. This role focuses on architecture, performance, security, and automation across VMware platforms while providing technical leadership and strategic direction.
- Design and architect VMware solutions (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter)
- Lead design standards, best practices, and architecture governance
- Manage platforms including vSAN, NSX, and VMware Horizon
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and performance optimization
- Oversee upgrades, migrations, and lifecycle management
- Implement automation using PowerCLI, Terraform, Ansible, and VMware Aria
- Integrate VMware environments with hybrid and public cloud
- Ensure security, compliance, and network segmentation
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and act as escalation point
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor engineers
- Engage vendors and present solutions to stakeholders
Minimum Requirements
Degree in Computer Science or a related field, and six years of experience in a technology-related role. Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a working knowledge of server hardware, and extensive experience with Microsoft operating systems and related technologies.
