ROHM Semiconductor USA is looking for reliable and self-motivated Material Handlers for a short-term assignment for up to 3 months. Seeking candidates who can work a temporary fulltime shift Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in our Otay Mesa Warehouse facility to identify, move, handle, pack, and store our products. ROHM offers a wide variety of semiconductor and consumer electronics components and products. This is a great opportunity for students and those desiring supplemental hours and extra income!
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily to include but not limited to:
- Accurately pick and/or pull the correct materials for packing and shipping to customers
- Accurately label and ship to customers
- Track and monitor inventory levels
- Safely and properly store products
- General use of powered industrial lift equipment and reporting maintenance necessities
- Additional duties and responsibilities as required and assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience/Training:
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education or training desired
- No experience is necessary
- Knowledge of Warehouse OSHA Standards and practices
Abilities/Attitudes:
- Ability to repeatedly lift products weighing 25-100 lb. up to 40 lbs. required.
- Excellent communication abilities
- Maintain good sustained and reliable attendance
- Forklift certification not required, a plus
- Physical ability to stand for prolonged periods; ability to life, reach, bend, or pull
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong command of English language (oral, written, reading and listening)
