Mover/Driver – Piano Movers Plus
Piano Movers Plus, a specialty moving company, is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and professional Mover/Driver to join our team. This position involves the safe transportation and handling of large, heavy, and valuable items, including upright and grand pianos, safes, furniture, and specialty equipment.
The ideal candidate is physically fit, comfortable with demanding manual labor, and willing to work as part of a team moving items that often require strength, stamina, problem-solving, and attention to detail. Previous moving industry experience is strongly preferred.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to obtain a DOT medical card
- Must pass a drug screening
- Experience driving box trucks or moving trucks preferred
- Ability to safely lift and maneuver heavy items on a daily basis
- Moving, furniture delivery, piano moving, or warehouse experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks and moving vehicles
- Load, unload, and transport large and heavy items, including upright and grand pianos
- Work closely with team members to move specialty items through homes, businesses, stairways, and other challenging environments
- Use proper equipment and techniques to protect customers' property and valuable belongings
- Provide outstanding customer service and maintain a professional appearance and attitude
- Ensure deliveries and moves are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule
Compensation
Competitive pay based on experience ranging from $18-$23 per hour
Schedule
Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work as needed.
