Overview
We are seeking Motivated shift leaders/ managers to lead the successful launch of new Captain D’s locations. This role requires a strategic leader with strong management, organizational, and communication skills to oversee all aspects of store setup, team recruitment, training, and operational readiness. The ideal candidate will possess extensive retail management experience, including store opening procedures, team development, inventory control, and customer service excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of expanding our brand presence and ensuring new stores operate smoothly from day one.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of new store openings, including site preparation, merchandising setup, and operational workflows
- onboard new team members ensuring alignment with company standards and culture
- Conduct employee orientation sessions and facilitate comprehensive training & development
- Implement store policies related to pricing, sales management, and customer service standards
- Supervise shift management, scheduling, and daily operational tasks to ensure smooth functioning during opening phases
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization
Requirements
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively across various functions such as sales, inventory control, and customer service
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising, stocking, and inventory management
- Proficiency in POS systems, retail math, cash handling, and budgeting processes
- Exceptional communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for diverse customer engagement
- Demonstrated ability in negotiation, recruiting, interviewing, employee orientation, training & development
- Ability to manage time efficiently under pressure while maintaining a focus on quality standards
- Strong organizational skills
- Leadership qualities with previous experience in retail or foodservice environments
