We are actively seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our clinic in Langhorne, Pennsylvania.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated clinician who wants to expand their knowledge, strengthen their clinical skills, and work closely with an experienced, Harvard-trained medical practitioner. The selected candidate will participate in patient evaluations, treatment planning, follow-up care, patient education, and other clinical services within their professional scope of practice.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct comprehensive patient consultations, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, symptom assessments, and evaluation of previous treatments.
- Assess patients presenting with acute pain, chronic pain, musculoskeletal conditions, mobility concerns, and other conditions treated by the clinic.
- Collaborate closely with the supervising or collaborating physician to develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans when clinically appropriate and within the provider’s scope of practice.
- Provide follow-up care to evaluate treatment effectiveness, medication response, functional improvement, and changes in a patient’s condition.
- Order and review appropriate laboratory testing, diagnostic imaging, and other clinical studies in accordance with clinic protocols and applicable regulations.
- Prescribe medications when appropriate, authorized, and consistent with Pennsylvania law, clinic policies, and evidence-based medical standards.
- Educate patients about their diagnoses, available treatment options, medications, procedures, recovery expectations, and recommended lifestyle modifications.
- Help patients understand the risks, benefits, and alternatives associated with proposed treatments so they can make informed healthcare decisions.
- Perform or assist with approved in-office procedures based on training, credentialing, competency, and scope of practice.
- Support the delivery of pain-management, wellness, and regenerative medicine services offered by the clinic.
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation, including consultation notes, follow-up notes, treatment plans, medication records, procedure documentation, and patient instructions.
- Review relevant medical records, diagnostic reports, medication histories, and referrals before patient appointments.
- Communicate professionally with patients, referring providers, pharmacies, insurance representatives, attorneys, case managers, and other authorized parties when appropriate.
- Assist with the coordination of care for patients involved in workers’ compensation, personal injury, or other medically and administratively complex cases when applicable.
- Identify changes in a patient’s condition that require physician review, additional evaluation, urgent intervention, or referral to another healthcare provider.
- Follow all clinical protocols, infection-control procedures, OSHA requirements, HIPAA standards, and applicable state and federal regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, properly stocked, and clinically safe treatment environment.
- Participate in clinical training, case discussions, protocol reviews, and continuing education opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with clinical and administrative team members to provide a smooth, professional, and patient-centered experience.
- Contribute ideas that can improve clinical quality, patient satisfaction, operational efficiency, and continuity of care.
- Represent the clinic professionally within the local community and among referral partners.
CLINICAL SERVICES
Depending on the candidate’s experience, training, credentialing, and assigned responsibilities, the role may include involvement in:
- Comprehensive pain-management evaluations
- Acute and chronic pain follow-up visits
- Musculoskeletal assessments
- Medication evaluation and management
- Review of diagnostic imaging and laboratory findings
- Patient education and treatment counseling
- Wellness and functional health evaluations
- Regenerative medicine consultations
- Medically supervised weight-management services
- In-office injections or procedures within the provider’s authorized scope
- Pre-procedure and post-procedure patient care
- Workers’ compensation and personal-injury evaluations
- Coordination with specialists, primary-care providers, physical therapists, and other members of a patient’s care team
Specific procedures and clinical responsibilities will be assigned only after the provider’s experience, competency, licensure, and training have been reviewed and approved by the Medical Director.
YOUR EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Current and unrestricted licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
- Current national board certification from an appropriate recognized certifying organization.
- Graduate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Current DEA registration or eligibility to obtain DEA registration when required for assigned responsibilities.
- Current Basic Life Support certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification is preferred.
- At least one year of clinical experience is preferred; however, highly motivated newer graduates with strong clinical foundations may be considered.
- Experience in pain management, orthopedics, neurology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, primary care, urgent care, internal medicine, or regenerative medicine is preferred but not required.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic reasoning, and patient-education skills.
- Ability to recognize clinical concerns requiring escalation, physician consultation, emergency intervention, or specialist referral.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to explain medical information clearly, compassionately, and confidently.
- Strong documentation skills and familiarity with electronic medical record systems.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple clinical responsibilities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
- Commitment to evidence-based care, ethical medical practices, and ongoing professional education.
- Ability to meet all continuing education, collaborative-practice, prescriptive-authority, and licensing requirements established by the appropriate Pennsylvania licensing board.

Schedule: Day shifts with a mutually agreed-upon weekday schedule

Compensation: Competitive hourly compensation based on experience, qualifications, schedule, and clinical responsibilities
