Responsibilities
Perform skilled, independent installation of security systems in accordance with company standards, drawings, and specifications
Install, terminate, label, and test low‑voltage cabling with clean workmanship and proper cable management
Install and commission security devices including: Access control hardware and door components, IP cameras and camera infrastructure, Intrusion alarm systems and field devices, intercoms, and other specialty devices
Ability to perform neat door hardware and component installations with occasional assistance as needed.
Verify system functionality and resolve installation‑level issues without supervision
Ensure all work is neat, labeled, aligned, sealed, tested, and fully operational prior to inspection or turnover
Assist the Technician IV with day‑to‑day jobsite execution and coordination
Provide guidance and on‑the‑job support to Technician I and II team members
Maintain installation pace that meets or exceeds expected timeframes without sacrificing quality
Accurately document work completed, time entries, and job progress in project tracking systems
Maintain detailed and timely records without assistance
Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and site‑specific requirements
