Southwest Oilfield Products is seeking a highly organized, energetic, and people-focused HR Generalist / Recruiter to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for leading recruiting efforts while supporting a variety of human resources functions, including onboarding, offboarding, employee events, benefits administration, and HR operations.
The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships, managing multiple priorities, and creating a positive employee experience from recruitment through separation. Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or related environments is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Recruiting & Talent Acquisition
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies.
- Source, screen, interview, and coordinate candidates for manufacturing, operations, administrative, and professional positions.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines through job boards, networking, staffing agencies, and other sourcing methods.
- Coordinate interviews, conduct reference checks, and assist with employment offers and negotiations.
- Maintain recruiting metrics and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
Human Resources Administration
- Coordinate and administer employee onboarding and orientation programs.
- Manage offboarding processes, including exit interviews, documentation, and separation procedures.
- Assist with employee benefits administration and respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits programs.
- Support time and attendance administration, ensuring accurate employee records and reporting.
- Maintain employee files and HR records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
- Assist with HR policies, procedures, and special projects as assigned.
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Assist with planning and coordinating company events, including holiday parties, employee appreciation events, and other employee engagement activities.
- Support initiatives that promote a positive workplace culture and employee experience.
- Help coordinate employee recognition and communication programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, but not required.
- 2+ years of recruiting, HR, or related experience preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or related industries is a plus.
- Knowledge of HR processes, including onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, and employee relations preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with HRIS and applicant tracking systems is a plus.

Compensation:
- $70,000–$80,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and relevant manufacturing industry background.
This is an on-site position located at our Northwest Houston-area facility. Working hours are usually between 7am-4pm.
