Lone Star Air Duct Cleaning Services is seeking a dependable, motivated, and customer-focused Air Duct Cleaning Technician with experience in residential air duct and dryer vent cleaning. This position involves inspecting, cleaning, and maintaining residential air duct systems and dryer vents while providing exceptional customer service. Candidates should be comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, and rooftops when necessary and be able to explain services to homeowners in a professional manner.
Responsibilities
- Perform residential and commercial air duct cleaning.
- Clean and inspect dryer vent systems.
- Conduct HVAC system inspections before and after cleaning.
- Operate truck-mounted and portable duct cleaning equipment safely.
- Remove debris, dust, and contaminants from HVAC systems following industry best practices.
- Identify damaged or unsafe ductwork and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Educate customers on indoor air quality and maintenance recommendations.
- Complete digital work orders, photos, and customer documentation.
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
- Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures.
- Represent the company professionally at every customer interaction.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of air duct cleaning, or related field experience.
- Experience cleaning residential air ducts and dryer vents.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds.
- Comfortable climbing ladders and working in attics and crawl spaces.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Preferred
- HVAC certification or EPA Certification.
- NADCA Air Systems Cleaning Specialist (ASCS) Certification.
- Experience with truck-mounted vacuum systems and negative air machines.
- Sales or upselling experience.
- Bilingual is a plus

Schedule
- 6-day-a-week schedule
- 8-hour shifts with overtime available
License/Certification
- Valid Driver's License (Required)
