Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Vacation Rental Turnover Cleaner to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring each rental property is spotless, sanitized, and guest-ready after each stay. *Must be available Saturdays and/or Sundays during July and August
Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize all areas of vacation rental properties, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living spaces, and outdoor areas
- Handle cleaning tasks using appropriate equipment such as vacuums, mops, scrubbers, and other janitorial tools
- Properly handle and store chemical agents in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS) and safety protocols
- Perform heavy lifting when moving furniture or large cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain high standards of sanitation by following industry best practices for hygiene and cleanliness
- Conduct inspections to ensure all aspects of the property meet company standards before guest check-in
- Manage cleaning schedules efficiently to ensure timely turnovers between reservations
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping management, janitorial or custodial roles, or industrial cleaning is highly desirable
- Familiarity with floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, and floor polishing
- Knowledge of chemical handling procedures and safety data sheets (SDS) for various cleaning agents
- Experience with hotel housekeeping operations or hospitality industry standards is a plus
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks and heavy lifting safely during cleaning routines
- Strong customer service skills to address guest needs professionally when necessary
- Understanding of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols related to sanitation and cleaning operations
