Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work directly with children diagnosed with autism and other developmental disorders, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role is crucial in providing support to children and their families, fostering growth and development through applied behavior analysis techniques.
Duties
- Implement individualized care plans based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to support children with autism.
- Collect and maintain accurate medical documentation and patient care records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Educate families and caregivers on behavior management strategies to reinforce learning outside of therapy sessions.
- Monitor and record progress towards behavioral goals, adjusting interventions as necessary to ensure effectiveness.
- Collaborate with BCBAs to develop and refine treatment plans based on ongoing assessments.
- Provide direct support during therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all clients.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices in special education and behavioral health.
Experience
- Previous experience working with children, particularly those on the autism spectrum, is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with special education practices and the ability to implement effective teaching strategies.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and medical records management.
- Experience in creating or following care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
- A background in applied behavior analysis or related fields is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.

Pay: $36,400.00 - $41,600.00 per year
