Food Service Director
Join the Oak Knoll Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center team as our new Food Service Director! As a key member of our food service team, you will oversee the daily operations of our culinary services department, ensuring the highest quality food service to our patients. Based in Marion, MA, our center is committed to providing exceptional care and rehabilitation services to our patients. Food Service Director is a full-time, 40-hour per week position offering a competitive salary of $35 - $40 HOURLY.
About the Role:
As Food Service Director, you will be responsible for:
Supervising food preparation and service, maintaining high standards of operation and quality
Overseeing maintenance of records, including meal selection, menus, diet census, diets served, and weekly staffing
Providing and supervising high-quality food service to patients, while evaluating departmental goals and objectives to ensure compliance with regulations
Requirements:
High School degree and graduate of state-approved course providing 90 hours or more classroom instruction in Food Service Management, Nutrition, and Sanitation, or Bachelor's degree with 90 hours of state-approved courses or Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Restaurant Management, or Culinary Arts (must hold CDM or FSM certificate)
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a cook in a healthcare setting
1-3 years of supervisory experience in food service in a healthcare setting
