We are seeking a dedicated dishwasher/ enthusiastic Food Preparation Worker to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and presentation of food items in a fast-paced environment. Your contributions will ensure that our guests receive high-quality meals and exceptional service. Ideal candidates will have experience in food handling, cooking, and cleaning within various food service settings.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of food items during spare time while dish-washing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
- Support cooking staff by preparing ingredients and ensuring all necessary supplies are available
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure proper handling and storage of food items.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with guests during meal service
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen roles is preferred
- Familiarity with culinary techniques and food handling practices
- Experience in restaurant, hotel, or catering environments is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations within the food service industry
