Senior Developer responsible for designing, developing, and supporting scalable document analysis solutions using Java/Spring Boot and AWS AI/ML services. The role focuses on building event-driven pipelines for document ingestion, extraction, and classification, integrated with enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop document processing pipelines using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture
Implement event-driven workflows using AWS S3, Step Functions, and EventBridge
Integrate AWS Textract for document extraction and AWS Comprehend for classification and entity analysis
Build, train, and optimize ML/NLP models for document classification and data extraction
Develop and manage REST APIs and integrations with external and enterprise systems
Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/CloudFormation) for AWS resource provisioning
Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Jenkins
Troubleshoot production issues and ensure system performance, scalability, and reliability
Create and maintain technical documentation
Required (Must-Have) Skills:
Strong hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot (Microservices)
Proven experience with AWS services: Textract, Comprehend, S3, Step Functions, EventBridge
Strong experience in event-driven architecture design and implementation
Hands-on experience with ML/NLP model development (classification, extraction)
Experience with REST API design and integrations
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, Jenkins)
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
Strong debugging and production support experience
Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills:
Experience with AWS SageMaker for model training/deployment
Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda (serverless architectures)
Experience with DynamoDB or NoSQL databases
Exposure to document processing/intelligent automation use cases
Experience with Docker/containerization
Experience:
5 to 10+ years of experience in backend development
Strong experience in delivering AWS-based production solutions
Hands-on experience with Textract and Comprehend implementations
Experience in building scalable, high-performance, event-driven systems
Education:
