Key Responsibilities of Registered Nurse Assessment Coordinator (RNAC):
- Oversee daily nursing operations and support/mentor nursing staff
- Conduct and coordinate resident assessments and the RAI process in compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations
- Maintain quality assurance programs and monitor QI/QM reports to address potential issues
- Serve as a clinical resource and provide guidance to the interdisciplinary team
- Participate in facility surveys and inspections
- Deliver initial and ongoing education related to resident assessment and care planning
Qualifications for Registered Nurse Assessment Coordinator (RNAC):
- Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in long-term care or skilled nursing
- Leadership or supervisory experience, preferably in long-term care or skilled nursing
- RNAC or LNAC experience
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
