We are seeking a Scheduling Coordinator who will play a key role in ensuring our clients receive reliable, consistent care by coordinating caregiver schedules and responding quickly to staffing needs.
This position is based in our Merrillville office and requires daily in-office work. This is not a remote position.
The person in this role will be responsible for coordinating caregiver schedules, responding to call-offs, communicating with caregivers and clients, and ensuring shifts are properly staffed. This position works closely with our operations and clinical teams to support excellent client service.
Create and maintain caregiver schedules for client shifts
Ensure all client visits are properly staffed
Respond quickly to call-offs and schedule changes
Communicate schedule updates with caregivers and office staff
Coordinate shift coverage when caregivers are unavailable
Serve as a primary point of contact for caregivers regarding schedules
Assist caregivers with schedule questions and updates
Help support caregiver reliability and shift coverage
Communicate with clients regarding schedule updates when necessary
Ensure continuity of care and reliable service
Support the operations team in maintaining high service standards
Maintain accurate schedule documentation
Support general office coordination and communication
Assist with operational reporting and scheduling updates
Experience in scheduling, staffing coordination, or office administration
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills with caregivers and clients
Strong attention to detail and follow-through
Experience in home care or healthcare scheduling is a plus
Ability to work in-office daily
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
$46,000 – $54,000 annual base salary, based on experience
Quarterly L10 performance bonus opportunity equal to 4% of annual salary each quarter (up to approximately 16% annually when goals are achieved).
