- Receiving and unloading trucks, verify and check in production stock and other materials, matching materials to purchase orders and storing in inventory or distributing directly to production personnel.

Shipping includes preparation for and loading trucks, verify material and product being shipped and matching to sales orders or other documentation directing the shipment of material.

Read work orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed and/or shipped.

Move materials and items from receiving or inventory storage areas to production or to other designated areas.

Move materials and items from production areas (pressroom or mailing) to shipping or other designated areas in preparation for distribution.

Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined location tags.

Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders to a holding area or shipping department.

Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method.

Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed via computer program.

Assist in counting of physical inventory.

Weigh and count items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.

Prepare shipments and affixes shipping labelsand documents on packed cartons or skidded material

Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned by a supervisor including warehouse area or facilities maintenance.
Educational/Training Requirement:
-
High school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience.
Experience: One year of prior warehouse clerical and operational experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including word, excel and email outlook

Proficient data entry skills preferably from other system exposure

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and exercise judgment
