Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee and manage our diverse portfolio of multifamily residential properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of property management, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. This role requires effective conflict management, administrative capabilities, and the ability to foster positive relationships with tenants and property owners alike.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of assigned properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and meet company standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with tenants, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with property owners.
- Maintain understanding and knowledge of local laws and ordinances.
- Oversee property leasing activities, including marketing available units, conducting showings, and processing applications.
- Implement effective conflict management strategies to resolve tenant disputes amicably.
- Run weekly delinquency, occupancy, and maintenance reports.
- Work closely with accounting to ensure all vendor bills are paid on time.
- Coordinate property maintenance activities, ensuring timely repairs and upkeep of facilities.
- Maintain accurate records related to property management activities, including leasing agreements, maintenance requests, and tenant communications.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure quality service delivery for property maintenance.
- Prepare regular reports on property performance metrics for review by upper management.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies regarding property management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in property management is essential.
- Extensive experience with AppFolio (preferred), Yardi, or similar systems.
- Strong skills in conflict management and customer relationship management.
- Proficient in administrative tasks with excellent email and phone etiquette.
- Knowledge of real estate administrative processes is highly desirable.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on owner and tenant satisfaction.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $56,160.00 - $60,320.00 per year
