Join Our Team!The Arc of Franklin-Fulton Counties is seeking a compassionate, organized, and motivated Program Coordinator to join our team. This position plays a key role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities by coordinating services, supervising staff, and ensuring quality supports that help individuals thrive in their communities.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of individuals receiving Companion, In-Home and Community Supports (IHCS), Transportation, and Social Recreation services.
- Supervise, mentor, and support Direct Support Professionals.
- Attend ISP meetings and collaborate with individuals, families, Supports Coordinators, and other providers.
- Complete quarterly progress reports, service observations, and monitoring.
- Review service documentation to ensure compliance with Pennsylvania ODP regulations.
- Assist with employee onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management.
- Coordinate transportation services, schedules, and vehicle compliance.
- Support agency social and recreational events.
- Utilize electronic documentation systems and maintain accurate records.
- Effectively manage multiple priorities, calendars, deadlines, and meeting schedules while maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
- Demonstrate flexibility in work hours, including occasional evenings, weekends, and other non-traditional hours, based on the needs of individuals served and agency operations.
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field preferred. Equivalent education and experience will be considered.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities or in a related human services field is required.
- Knowledge of Pennsylvania ODP waiver services and ISP processes is preferred.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to effectively prioritize multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines, and maintain an organized schedule.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while managing competing priorities.
- Must be professional, dependable, and a team player with the ability to build positive relationships with individuals, families, coworkers, and community partners.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel locally.
