Inside Sales & Office Administrator
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused professional to support inside sales, quoting, office administration, and day-to-day customer service. This role works closely with customers, vendors, management, and production to help keep projects moving, support accurate quoting and purchasing, and create a positive experience for callers and walk-in customers.
Summary of Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities
· Prepare accurate and timely quotes by reviewing customer requests, gathering specifications, and coordinating pricing and material costs.
· Coordinate with management and production to ensure orders, job details, and supporting paperwork are complete and communicated clearly.
· Assist with purchasing and material procurement through vendor communication and established supplier relationships.
· Answer incoming calls and support walk-in customers with product information, pricing, availability, and order assistance.
· Monitor customer needs and follow through on requests to help ensure orders are completed accurately and on schedule.
· Work with production teams to address questions, resolve issues, and keep customers informed throughout the job process.
· Help resolve customer concerns by identifying the issue, coordinating solutions, and escalating when needed.
· Provide administrative support that may include invoicing, billing assistance, order documentation, and general office tasks.
Minimum Requirements
· Strong customer service, communication, and follow-up skills.
· Ability to stay organized, manage multiple priorities, and work with a high level of personal accountability.
· Experience in inside sales, quoting, customer service, office administration, or a related role preferred.
· Experience in metals, steel, manufacturing, or an industrial environment preferred.
Education and/or Experience
· Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent work experience will be considered.
· Previous experience in quoting, inside sales, customer support, purchasing, office administration, or project coordination is preferred.
· Product knowledge or prior experience in metals or manufacturing is a plus.

· Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn internal systems quickly.
· Solid math, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
· Self-motivated and able to work independently while also collaborating with a team.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional, service-oriented approach.
· Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys customer interaction, organization, and supporting both office and production operations. Additional duties may be assigned based on business needs.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
