Cath Lab Technician – Full-Time Contract
Location: Louisville, KY
We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technician for a full-time contract opportunity in Louisville, KY. The ideal candidate will have experience assisting with cardiac catheterization procedures, preparing patients, monitoring hemodynamics, and maintaining a safe, efficient procedural environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and procedure rooms for cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Assist physicians during invasive cardiology procedures by scrubbing cases.
- Monitor and record hemodynamic pressures throughout procedures.
- Support patient care before, during, and after procedures.
- Provide patient and family education as appropriate.
- Maintain clinical competency and adhere to established quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure excellent patient care.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a Cath Lab.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Must hold one of the following credentials:
- RCIS
- ARRT (VI)
- RTRCI
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Schedule
- Full-Time | 40 hours/week
- 13-week contract
- Rotating schedule:
- Week 1: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Week 2: Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM – 7:00 AM call coverage, plus Saturday & Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM
- Guaranteed weekly hours.
Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour

- Are you experienced with patient preparation, scrubbing procedures, and hemodynamic pressure monitoring?
- Are you available to work the rotating schedule, including weekends and call coverage?
- Are you a local or traveler - Travelers are accepted living beyond 50 miles with a copy of their driving license or a state ID stating permanent residency and are eligible for a travel package.
- Are you comfortable with the rate of $60 - $65 an hour?
- Are you comfortable working on 3-5 months of contract assignment with extensions?
