Our busy obstetrics and gynecology office in NW Austin is seeking a bright, friendly, motivated individual to work as Medical Assistant as the schedule dictates in a full or part time position (open to either). We are a sister clinic of Pflugerville OB GYN.
The candidate we are seeking must have compassion for patients, a professional appearance, excellent communication and organizational skills, strong ability to be punctual and a positive, energetic attitude. As a Medical Assistant the tasks would include rooming patients, taking vital signs and assisting providers in the exam room with procedures. We have a proven track record for those wanting to pursue PA or MD degrees. The work you do here will help to prepare you for furthering your education.
Position Requirements:
*Experience is a must
*Experience with ATHENA is a plus
* Highly organized and detail oriented
* Excellent communication skills oral and written; able to communicate effectively with patients and all levels within the care center
* Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
* Demonstrated ability to work in a FAST-paced office environment
* For part time employees, we do require at least full day availability at least 2 days per week
