Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and vigilant Security Officers to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond to emergencies, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. The Security Officer will play a crucial role in preventing loss and ensuring the security of premises through effective surveillance and conflict management.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Operate CCTV systems and conduct regular surveillance to ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, taking appropriate action as necessary.
- Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
- Conduct thorough inspections of grounds, and equipment to identify potential security risks.
- Assist in conflict management by de-escalating situations before they escalate into more serious incidents.
- Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary and provide assistance during investigations.
Requirements
- Previous security experience is preferred but not mandatory. .
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential security threats.
- Must be physically fit and able to stand or walk for extended periods while performing patrol duties.
