We have been retained by an innovative, growing, defense-side employment litigation boutique with a national practice that seeks to hire a senior associate or counsel-level litigation attorney. The firm operates remotely, and the environment is warm and collegial, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, mentorship, and sustainable careers—attorneys are encouraged to “live whole lives” while doing sophisticated work.
Key Responsibilities
- Defend employers in a variety of commercial litigation and employment litigation matters, including wage-and-hour and PAGA actions
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other substantive court filings
- Assist with case strategy, discovery, and client counseling
- Work closely with partners and other attorneys in a collaborative team environment
- Gain meaningful, hands-on litigation experience
What the Firm Seeks
- About 5 to 10 or more years of experience
- California bar admission required; New York bar admission a plus
- BigLaw or similar background
- Strong writing, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent judgment and professionalism; cultural fit is critical
