Full-time clinicians typically work three 12-hour shifts per week, with rotating weekends and holidays. Monthly schedules are released in advance.

NextCare is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our urgent care team at our McCart clinic in Fort Worth.

- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting
- Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging
- Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing and wound management, as applicable
- Communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions clearly
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR
- Code and bill services appropriately
- Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks
- Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values
- Active, unrestricted Texas license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- NP applicants must hold ANCC or AANP certification; FNP required
- PA applicants must hold NCCPA certification
- Active DEA license or ability to obtain
- Ability to treat patients of all ages
- Active BLS certification
- EHR proficiency
- Willingness to work rotating weekends and holidays
- DOT certification required or willingness to obtain; fees covered
- Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast-track experience
- Strong procedural skills, including suturing, splinting, and wound care
- Experience with initial x-ray interpretation before radiology over-read
