Pay
- Pay structure: Mileage pay + stop pay
- Pay Rate: $0.69-$0.80
- Average weekly earnings: $1,600
- Weekly mileage: 2,200
- Stop pay: $10 for first stop, $15 per stop after
- Short haul pay: $25 for loads under 50 miles
Job Details
- Position: Full-Time
- Home time: Daily for slip seaters, other options to be discussed
- Schedule: Both day and night shifts
- Slip seat operation 5-6 days per week
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license
- 21+ years old
- Trainee or experienced first-seat drivers accepted
- No special endorsements required
- Clean driving record
- Clear drug and alcohol clearinghouse record
- Must pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening
Responsibilities
- Safely operate CDL-A truck on assigned routes
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate ELD electronic logs
- Handle live unload freight, including cold weather conditions
- Communicate effectively with dispatch throughout each shift
