We are seeking a passionate and energetic Assistant Teacher/Floater to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers with daily classroom activities, lesson plans, and child supervision to promote engaging learning experiences.
- Provide flexible support across multiple classrooms as needed, ensuring continuity of care and instruction.
- Support children’s social-emotional development through positive interactions and behavior management strategies.
- Maintain a safe environment by adhering to health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, needs, and daily activities.
- Support classroom organization, including preparing materials and maintaining cleanliness to create an inviting learning space.
- Follow mandated reporting laws and document observations related to childhood development and behavior.
Skills
- Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings.
- Knowledge of child development instruction, behavior management, and classroom management techniques.
- Certification in first aid, CPR, and pediatric first aid is highly preferred
- Strong communication skills for effective parent interaction and team collaboration.
- Ability to adapt quickly across different classrooms and age groups including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
- Demonstrated understanding of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
