We are growing, state of the art dental practice in Shelby , MI , dedicated to deliver exceptional patient care. We value collaborative, supportive team environment and are looking for a seasoned Dental Assistant who brings clinical excellence and a warm chair side manner.
This paid position offers opportunities for growth, ongoing training, and the chance to work with cutting-edge dental technology including 3D scanners and digital radiography.
Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are ready for procedures
- Expertly assist dentists during a wide range of restorative, cosmetic, and surgical procedures.
- Take and high quality digital radiographs and 3D scans.
- Manage patient records using Eaglesoft, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collect vital signs and medical history information to support comprehensive patient assessments
- Educate patients on oral health care instructions and post-treatment care plan.
Qualifications
- Requires 2 years or more experience working in a dental clinic environment with knowledge of dental terminology, and infection control practices,
- Proficiency with dental software such as Eaglesoft,
- HIPAA compliance, and electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Ability to perform X-ray imaging accurately while maintaining safety standards for patients and staff
- Strong understanding of chairside assisting techniques across general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics and implant placement,
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members including dental receptionists and hygienists

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
