Responsibilities
- Serve food and beverages to guests with professionalism, attentiveness, and a warm demeanor, ensuring an exceptional dining experience
- Assist with food preparation, plating, and presentation to meet the host’s specifications while adhering to food safety standards
- Buss tables efficiently by clearing dishes, resetting tables, and maintaining cleanliness throughout events
- Support kitchen operations by organizing supplies, managing food handling procedures, and assisting with catering setup and breakdown
- Provide attentive guest services, addressing inquiries promptly and fostering positive guest relations in a fine dining atmosphere
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems for event transactions when applicable, ensuring accurate order processing
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace by following food safety protocols and sanitation practices at all times
Experience
- Prior experience in the food industry or hospitality settings is highly preferred, especially in catering or banquet environments
- Culinary experience or background in fine dining establishments enhances your ability to deliver top-tier service
- Demonstrated guest services skills with a focus on hospitality and customer satisfaction
- Knowledge of wine service, food handling, and food safety regulations is advantageous
- Experience working with POS systems and managing multiple tasks efficiently during events
- Previous hotel or restaurant experience provides a solid foundation for this role
- Strong communication skills coupled with a proactive attitude to anticipate guest needs and support team members
