- Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing wellness or injury management.
- Maintain detailed records of each session, including treatment plans, progress notes, and relevant medical terminology.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive pain management strategies tailored to individual needs.
- Ensure all treatments adhere to safety standards, hygiene protocols, and licensing regulations.
- Provide exceptional patient service by creating a welcoming atmosphere that fosters trust and comfort.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management.
- Proven experience in patient service with excellent customer service skills.
- Proficiency in various massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.
- Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop customized treatment plans.
- Familiarity with occupational health principles and med spa procedures is a plus.
- Effective communication skills to clearly explain treatment benefits and address client concerns.
