Job Description: Lead Event Technician

A full-time opening for Lead Event Technician who would work in their Burlington, NJ office and travel to various venues through-out the United States to facilitate the setup and operation of AV hardware along with on-site technical support for Tradeshows, Meetings, Events and Conventions.
**Must have experience with live events or trade shows, corporate meetings or conferences and be willing to work evenings and weekends as needed. **Note: This is a Full Time Permanent W2 Opportunity with benefits including, health insurance, paid time off, employer 401K contributions.
Yearly salary: $95,000 + depending on experience

Position Description
· On-site Audio and Video installation, configuration and troubleshooting of computer systems, software, and related peripherals, including microphones, speakers, mixing consoles, effects racks, LED video screens, projectors, video switchers, cameras and recording equipment.
· A successful candidate will have advanced knowledge and experience with expert set-up and maintenance of Audio and Video equipment
· Maintain AV and IT hardware and able to trouble-shoot and configure equipment remotely and onsite
· Manage technical aspects, changes and additions at events as required by end client
· Travel to various venues throughout the United States and Canada ensuring equipment operates correctly
· Provide direction and support to traveling team and end client
· Perform AV and Computer updates to software, firmware and OS
· Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Experience
· Minimum of 3 years of Audio-Visual Lead Event Technician with experience operating audio and video equipment.
· Minimum of 1 year of recent leadership experience leading a team of AV Technicians during "live" events.
· Knowledge of Audio-Visual systems design, LED wall configuration, servicing, engineering, integration, equipment operation (sound and video boards) and real time support.
· Experience configuring and operating Audio, Video and LED control equipment.
· Provide advanced troubleshooting of equipment and rack-mounted systems to identify the source of problems and provide immediate repair or replacement to restore operations.
· Superior customer service skills to deal with both internal and external customers.
· Must have an excellent attitude, professional dress and be capable of performing efforts politely and professionally in a corporate customer service facing role.
· High School diploma or equivalent required
· Bachelors or Technical Degree preferred but not required. Prior experience required
· Advanced understanding of Audio Visual and computer equipment
· Ability to lift/push/pull heavy items such as road cases
· Professional demeanor and appearance
· Travel: It is expected that this position will require travel to vendor sites and industry events.
· Must have a flexible schedule and ability to work weekends and nights
· This position requires driving; therefore, a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record (no major violations, DUIs, or multiple moving violations in the past 5 years) are required.
· Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship
· College Degree highly preferred.
· CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) or other related industry certifications nice to have.
