Duties:
- This position must speak fluent Spanish if you do not speak Spanish, you will not be considered for this role
- This position will travel to Mexico for training
- Experience with Overhead Crane Maintenance is required.
- Conducts Crane Maintenance, Crane inspection and Crane operator training for crane maintenance technicians and crane operators for Overhead Cranes.
- Travel to customer locations around North America and Mexico and train crane maintenance, Crane inspection, Crane operator and rigging courses
- We have both Full time and part time jobs available, Part time would be traveling 1 or 2 times (weeks) per month, full time would be 3-4 times per month
- Classes are typically 1-3 days, travel is Monday - Friday
- Applicants will only be considered with CRANE MAINTENANCE experience
Experience:
- Previous experience as a trainer, or instructor is preferred
- Previous experience as a crane maintenance technician is required.
- Must be Proficient in using email, Microsoft Power point and hooking up a laptop to a projector for running a course.
- Must not be afraid of public speaking (training)
- Candidates with prior experience with Crane Variable Frequency drives especially the brands Electromotive and / Konecranes VFD will also be considered first
Skills:
- Crane Maintenance skills and experience are required. - mechanical, and or Electrical is required. Applicants who do not have this will not be considered.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to adapt training methods to accommodate different learning styles
- Strong organizational skills to manage training schedules and book your own travel and accommodations
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy of training content
- Patience and ability to work with individuals of varying skill
