Shifts Available: 2nd Shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Mon–Fri), 3rd Shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Mon–Fri)
Reports to: Press Supervisor
About the Role
The Press Assistant supports press operations by preparing changeovers, assisting with press operation, ensuring product quality, and performing preventative maintenance. This role also provides training and support to other press assistants while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
What You Will Do
- Oversee press operation under the guidance of the Press Operator or Supervisor
- Prepare and execute press changeovers efficiently and accurately
- Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with production standards
- Train and support press assistants on operational procedures
- Perform preventative maintenance activities according to company protocols
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment
- Follow all safety protocols and report any safety-related issues immediately
- Maintain accurate records of quality, production, and waste
- Perform other duties as assigned to support press operations
What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience in press operations or manufacturing preferred
- Ability to learn and follow operational and safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, bend, and lift materials as needed throughout the shift

Ability to lift and pull at least 50 pounds

Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a high-paced production environment
